The ATC BBQ always was and it will stay a private event organised by the Frankfurt Tower and Approach controllers. It is no official DFS event! We don´t want any important people to hold important speeches. BBQ was and will always be a relaxed party for the divided tower and approach units and the FRA airliners. The financial side of the BBQ is easy: the controllers pay and the airliners are invited. Additionally, our trade union the GDF is a big support. During the event we have a donation box and everybody can feel free to put some money in. In order to keep the event only for controllers and airliners we ask you to bring your company ID.
